So I recently recieved the new 88 ultra shimmer pallet from Coastal scents, and OMG.. I'm in love!!!

i can't even get over how pigmented these colors are!! these sell for 25 bucks, which is a STEAL. I completley recommend ANY of the coastal scents pallets to ANYONE looking for a good collection of colors for cheap. I get a LOAD of people asking about bright colors for cheap, and this is it! SUPER pigmented, even more so when using a base. Heres a few random swatches:



i can definitely guarantee that i will be using this pallet a LOT in upcomming videos, suuuch a good deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

okay, i NEEED to talk about one of my favorite people on youtube, Juderivera!!




i absolutely adore Jude in general, her looks are always fantastic and always catch my eye. I love her videos because the way she talks reminds me of a food network show, if that makes sense, haha. i also love how she will put a picture between each step, so you actually get to watch her apply the makeup, then get a close up picture of how it looks.

mayparis.. awesome nails!!

OMG.. i was just going through youtube looking at stuff and i saw i had a video response from mayparis on my red lips video. so i went and looked at her videos and JESUS, shes like.. the nail queen!!!



THIS is awesome, and if my nails were to ever be long i would so be all over that. She has loads of other nail tutorials, they are awesome! Plus i like the way she talks, her accent is cute :)

Lash Stash at Sephora

Eek! Sorry for sort of disapearing off the face of the earth, I have been so busy!

Firstly, last week my eye decided it wanted to go at war with me, so I had a fun eye infection that left me with a big red inflamed eye that was super hot. so no makeups :(

then, my mom, brother, and sister came out to visit me here in chicago for my birthday. that was fun, we went all over and did fun things. i got sunburned on my birthday which sucks, but its all good :)

One of my presents was the Lash Stash set from sephora. since i needed new mascara after that ugly infection, i thought why not try seven?

So for $28, you can try all of these mini sized mascara. Seeing as thats about the price of one of these, It's a pretty good deal!!
So far I have only tried the Kiss me mascara, and Badgal lash. I wanted to try the Kiss me mascara because it is one of those tubey mascaras.. the ones that claims it forms tiny water resistant tubes around each lash, so your mascara will not smudge, run, or clump, even if you rub your eyes, but it comes off with just a bit of water and pressure (I'm not one for waterproof mascara, but this sounded cool). Since I want to try all these bad boys, I did bad gal on one eye and kiss me on the other.
You can definitley feel the difference with the Kiss me Tubey mascara; my lashes almost feel like vinyl or plastic or something, the bad gal is like normal. I feel like the Kiss me mascara actually makes more of a statement than bad gal, and they weren't kidding, i keep touching my lashes and rubbing my eyes and nothing comes off. When I barely touch my bad gal lashes, I'll get a little residue on my fingers.

I'll keep you guys posted as I work my way through these mascaras, i know the too faced mascara is supposed to be a tubey one too. i kinda like them!

Cuberry.com

So I have been in contact with cuberry.com, which is a makeup company dedicated to using earth friendly ingredients; no preservatives, water, or fillers. They were sweet enough to send me 5 of their mineral shadows to try, and I just recieved them today. I'm impressed!

these swatches were all applied damp with a little water.

As you all know, I'm a sucker for brights, and these are so fun!
Super Tokyo is a nice, bright tangerine orange shade that has a pretty shimmer to it. this is a really pretty summer shadow :)
Going Green reminds me of chartreuse pigment from MAC pro, a nice lime green with a good amount of shimmer. i love lime greens, so ill get good use out of this one, espeically with caribbean soul!
Pink Bikini reminds me so much of an old fyranae shadow i had (back when they were still bombshell bath) called pepermind stick that i LOVED, and then they stopped making it. its a really, really gorgeous shimmery princess pink (i think ill be using this for my sleeping beauty tutorial!!)
Caribbean soul is definitely the sparkley one of the bunch. the other 4 are very shimmery, but caribbean soul has silver sparkles in it that make it shine brighter than the rest. the photo shows it looking more green, but i think in person it looks more of a bluish green. very gorgeous, this would look great as a crease color or used wet as a liner :)
Secret Garden just may become my staple "i-have-five-minutes-to-get-ready-and-want-to-look-kinda-pretty" color. its sort of hard to see in the pictures, but its a really nice neutral color, especially for me! its a bit darker than my skin, but will work perfect for a quick eye look to make me look more awake. im actually wanting to use it with pink bikini, because i love shimmery pinks mixed with neutral browns.


Overall, I really am impressed with the pigmentation of these all mineral shadows. I haven't yet played with them on my eyes, but I'll be sure to do a video using these soon. I'm actually thinking of using the pink and brown for my sleeping beauty look, so you will be sure to see them in action soon!
